Liz Brindle Counselling

One-to-one Sessions

Sessions are 60 minutes and can be held either face-to-face or online:

NARM Therapy

NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) is a cutting edge therapeutic approach designed to support people with attachment, relational and developmental trauma. Rather than focusing on retelling the past, NARM works with how old patterns show up in the present, helping you reconnect with your body, your emotions, and a more authentic sense of self. It's a gentle, depth orientated, present-focused approach that supports healthier relationships, greater self-awareness, and a deeper sense of connection with yourself.

Working with both the body and mind (bottom up and top down), together we bring greater curiosity and awareness to your inner landscape, as we explore the ways you learnt to disconnect from yourself and your deepest longings, inviting reconnection to your authentic sense of self and life force.

Trauma Informed Counselling

Trauma-informed counselling offers a warm, non-judgmental space where you're truly met and heard. Rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and self-understanding, my approach places you at the heart of the process. I provide empathy, acceptance, and genuine support as you find your own way forward. Whatever you're facing, I am here to walk alongside you, helping you build the confidence and self-awareness to navigate life's challenges in a way that feels right for you.

As an integrative counsellor I am able to draw upon different approaches and modalities to guide the sessions including:

  • Gestalt Therapy

  • Transactional Analysis

  • CBT

  • Attachment Theory

  • Person-Centred Therapy

  • Transpersonal Therapy

I also integrate somatic work and working with the nervous system when it is appropriate, drawing on yoga for stress management and applied polyvagal theory.
